Last year was a big success! We expanded our space and shared it with the New York State Dental Foundation (NYSDF). The NYSDF be there Aug 31, Sep 1 & 2, to offer oral cancer screenings and children’s dental health certificates. In addition, SUNY Canton Dental Hygiene students will be once again providing free fluoride varnishes for children on both weekends of the fair. It’s going to be a another big year for us!
However, without the dedication of our members, who give generously of their time to volunteer, we couldn’t do it. For those of you who have volunteered in the past, you know that this is of course a great benefit to both the public and profession.
I am sending out an appeal to those of you who would like to volunteer by covering a 3-hour block of time. You will of course be given a parking pass and 2 admission tickets as a “thank you” for your time. Should you need additional tickets please let us know right away as they need to be ordered now.
